Students aiming to attend an accredited college, university, or other accredited post-secondary program.  Scholarships vary in amounts of $250, $500, or $1000.

American College Foundation Scholarship
Visionary Scholarship Program
  • All high school students are eligible to apply (9th-12
  • Awards range from $1000 to $5000 each
  • Each award is a non-renewable, one-time award and is to be used exclusively to offset costs and feeds related directly to the student's first year of higher post-secondary education at an accredited institution of the student's choosing within the U.S.

Dairy MaxScholarship
  • Reside in the geographic territory served by Dairy MAX which includes Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Southwestern Kansas.
  • Graduating high school senior or undergraduate student currently enrolled at a four-year university.
  • Must be one of the following:
    - Child of dairy producer
    - Child of dairy farm employee
    - FFA or 4-H dairy show participant your junior or senior year in high school

Gates Millennium Scholars Program
  • Are African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American or Hispanic American
  • Are a citizen, national or legal permanent resident of the United States
  • Have attained a cumulative high school GPA of 3.3 on an unweighted 4.0 scale or have earned a GED
  • Will enroll for the first time at a US located, accredited college or university in the fall semester following high school graduation as a degree-seeking, first-year student.
  • Have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular or other activities

To be eligible for the $1000 award, students must have a GPA of 3.0 or above, be pursuing a degree related to healthcare, and submit a 600-1000 word essay by January 29, 2018 Scholarship is offered once a year and award is paid directly to the student.

Jostens Renaissance Education Scholarship Program
Jostens has established a scholarship program to assist students from schools with a Jostens Renaissance Program who plan to continue their education at a college or vocational school.  Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student′s choice.

XIT Chapter of Texas Tech Alumni Association Scholarships
  • Must be a graduating senior who will attend Texas Tech University
  • Must graduate from one of the following counties: Dallam, Hartley, or Sherman in Texas; Cimarron County in Oklahoma; Union and Harding Counties in New Mexico
  • Make sure to state your hometown rather than your campus address, so the application is forwarded to the local XIT Chapter
  • Award based on hometown, academic achievement, honors, activities, and financial need
